Avaya Aura Communication Manager is a flexible, reliable, and scalable IP telephony platform that supports intelligent communications for enterprises of all sizes. It can accommodate anywhere from fewer than 100 users to up to 41,000 users on a single system. As a key component of the Avaya Aura platform, Communication Manager enables real-time voice, video, messaging, mobility, and more. Available across all Avaya Aura editions, this software is offered with a single-user licensing fee.

Communication Manager offers centralized call control for a network of gateways and a diverse array of analog, digital, and IP communication devices. It includes built-in mobility applications, call center features, advanced conferencing, and E911 capabilities. Supporting SIP, H.323, and other standard communication protocols, Communication Manager also provides centralized voicemail and attendant operations for organizations and call centers across multiple locations.

Avaya IP Office Platform

Is an economical telephony system designed to support a mobile and distributed workforce with voice and video capabilities on virtually any device. IP Office is an integrated, modular communications solution that can scale up to 3000 extensions and 150 sites in a resilient multisite network. Deployment options range from simple appliances to virtualized software in a data center, providing flexibility to match infrastructure needs. IP Office features a hybrid PBX supporting both Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) and IP telephony with trunk support, operable in either mode or both simultaneously. It also includes built-in data capabilities for IP routing, switching, and firewall protection between LAN and WAN (LAN2). Beyond basic telephony services and voicemail, IP Office offers both hard phone and soft phone options. Soft phone applications provide flexibility for remote workers, allowing access to telephony services such as making and receiving calls, voicemail, and call forwarding from their computer or mobile device.
